The Bahá'í Faith

Spiritually starved, truth-seeking and open-minded people will certainly find in the teachings of this Faith not only the answer to tormenting questions, but also trustworthy directives for spiritual life.

The Founder of the Bahá'í Faith is Bahá'u'lláh (the Glory of God) Who proclaimed His mission on 21st April 1863 in the garden of Ridvan (near Baghdad).

Although severely persecuted by state and religious authorities, exiled and finally imprisoned in the penal colony of Akka, Bahá'u'lláh penned His teachings in numerous volumes. In part, the Founder repeats the ancient truths common to all the great religions, but presents them in a different light in keeping with the more developed powers of understanding of present-day humanity and He adds the requirements and counsels for the establishment of a new world order of justice and peace on earth.
